Famous for its cooling properties, Kaow Chae is a staple of royal Thai cuisine. Refreshing and delicately fragranced with jasmine, this cold rice dish is traditionally served with condiments ranging from deep-fried shrimp paste balls and sweet dried turnips to steamed green chili stuffed with minced pork.
